I might be a middle aged nerdy mom on the verge of a mid-life crisis. But lets get real. I could be a sword wielding priestess of power, rediscovering the joy of the world around me, and taking charge of all aspects of my life with renewed vigour. While there are parts of my life that I can’t wait to tear down in a round of mayhem and eagerly awaited destruction, it is only to make room for a new more beautiful life ahead of me. This isn’t fantasy. It is my reality. Because there is nothing wrong with wanting to dress like a warrior princess every day. And nothing wrong with sharing tales at the tavern or attending fantasy balls. Every thing is possible. And life shouldn’t be about a 9-5 grind just to work for the weekend. What makes me feel alive is not the city of unreachable carrots and promises, but the simple pleasures of feeling the earth beneath my feet, sleeping under the stars, and reveling in the beautiful foreign lands of exotic foods and heavenly beaches. Life is about romance and fantasy. About fantasy, fun, family, friends and food. And most of all its about celebrating the joy of every day and helping others to feel it too.
